Upon visiting a few different types of remotely-hosted forums out there, the thought of switching has crossed my mind. This forum hasn't received much activity yet to begin with. And Proboards feels too much like web 1.0 to me (however, they're working on version 5 of the software, but I don't know what direction it's heading in). Anyhow, I was wondering what your thoughts and insights are regarding the various remotely-hosted forum sites out there like Proboards and Zetaboards? Which do you use? Pros / Cons of the ones you've used? IMO, Proboards gets the job done, but there are some annoying things about customizing it and the interface makes you work. But more importantly, I'm interested in your opinions and whether or not it's sufficient for you guys. NOTE: Right now, I'm not looking into self-hosted forums like a phpbb or simple machines package.
